Instroc Cloud
Everything you build here can be published and run without you setting up a server, a database or a payment provider. You pay for what your apps actually use, at the rates below.
What things cost
These are the rates your published apps are billed at. There is no platform fee on top, and no per-seat charge.
File storageImages, documents and anything else your app stores. | $0.02per GB each month |
|---|---|
Database storageThe records your app keeps, like orders, posts or customers. | $1.00per GB each month |
RequestsEvery page load and every call your app makes. | $1.00per million |
Records readEvery time your app looks something up. | $0.10per million |
Records writtenEvery time your app saves or updates something. | $1.50per million |
Integration callsCalls your app makes to a connected service on your behalf. | $1.50per million |
BandwidthWhat your app sends to the people using it. | $0.05per GB |
Each app gets its own database, capped at 10 GB. At this rate, database storage alone is covered by a Starter allowance.
Every plan includes an allowance
Usage comes out of your allowance first. You only pay for what goes past it, and only if you have topped up.
Free
$5.00
of cloud usage, once
Hobby
$5.00
of cloud usage a month
Starter
$10.00
of cloud usage a month
Pro
$20.00
of cloud usage a month
Business
$25.00
of cloud usage a month
Paid plans reset their allowance at the start of each month and unused amounts do not carry over. The Free allowance is granted once when you sign up, and what is left of it stays until you spend it. When it runs out and you have not added funds, your published app stops answering requests until you top up or move to a paid plan.
What that adds up to
Three apps, priced at the rates above.
A landing page or portfolio
A few thousand visitors a month and a contact form.
- File storage 1 GB
- $0.02
- Database storage 100 MB
- $0.10

- $0.05
- Records read 500 thousand
- $0.05
- Records written 20 thousand
- $0.03
- Bandwidth 3 GB

The Free allowance of $5.00 is granted once, so an app like this runs for about a year before it needs a top up.
An app with real users
Accounts, saved data, daily use and a payment provider connected.
- File storage 5 GB
- $0.10
How you get billed
Allowance first
Your cloud allowance is spent before anything else. On a paid plan it comes back each month, so most apps never get past it.
Then your balance
Anything above the allowance comes out of a balance you top up yourself. Topped up funds do not expire.
Your cap, your call
A hard cap is on by default, so your apps pause instead of running up a bill. Switch it to soft and they keep serving into your balance.
Build something and see for yourself
Describe the app you want, publish it, and watch what it actually costs to run. The free plan is enough to get a real app live.
